[ Ugh, Dazai doesn't even have a second to reply regarding the whole job idea. Instead, he's more focused on that last bit. He makes a disgruntled noise, then a groan, almost like a petulant child, disgusted at the very idea of romance and sexual attraction.

Funny, considering who he was. ]

Groooooss! [ Also, the city they're in. Is he stupid? ] I don't get it. You act like you hate the man, but you can't keep your hands off him for like, even a minute.

[ Dazai complains, shifting to stand himself up from the ground then. ]

I hate everything about him. He's self-righteous, idealistic...

[ Jouno wrinkles his nose in clear disgust. ]

He thinks his morals are absolute. I always thought I'd like to see him crumble, but...

[ A heavy sigh. ]

I don't get it myself. There's something about him that drives me absolutely insane.

[ Moving further into the kitchen, now actually focusing on getting things ready to make the secondary cake, Dazai continues to listen, humming slightly in thought. ]

I mean, he's attractive. [ Thanks, Dazai, as if that's not obvious. ]

So you have that going for you when it comes to him. Plus, what he lacks in brains he has in muscle.

[ A pause, and he adds: ] Maybe it's his whole righteous do-gooder attitude that makes him someone interesting to people like us. He's 'good' without even trying, and he actually has morals.

[ It's a little relieving to hear someone else admit Tetchou is attractive, considering Jouno has very little idea what Tetchou actually looks like. For a blind man, he's incredibly vain. He doesn't want to be ~~obsessed~~ interested in someone ugly. ]

I find I've always been weak to men with a muscular physique.

[ But Dazai has a point. It is something that Jouno finds interesting about Tetchou. He can be what Jouno wants to be without even trying. ]

Before I met Tetchou, I thought it was impossible for people to be like that naturally. I'd always believed people were born evil and had to make the attempt to be good, but... He simply is good.

[ Yeah, that much is obvious. Jouno's tastes were easy to identify. Which made it funny that the two of them were... well, whatever the hell they were. Dazai wasn't going to put a label on it, and at this point, he was finding he was actually happy to just exist with the two in this house. Without thinking too in depth on what he might 'feel', because none of that tends to actually matter here.

Which, makes it easier to not care. To allow himself not to care.

He plops a few things onto the counter, ]

Can't say I've ever thought someone could be good like he is, [ Dazai agrees lightly, with a slight hum to his tone. He's half focused, after all!! ] But I've almost come to realize that there's people of all kinds. Some don't have to try.

[ ... And he's jealous of that. ]

Still. He's weird.

Oh, there's definitely something wrong with his brain.

[ Jouno cracks a smile at the insult. Tetchou's odd behavior infuriates him, but he's surprisingly fond of it, too. He's not sure what he'd do were Tetchou not around. ]

Either way, I would greatly appreciate it if you found him something to do. He can help move furniture around, if nothing else, for the opening of your business.

[ At least that was something that he enjoyed, if how often their furniture moved around in the house had anything to say about it. ]
