Tetchō likes hot springs. He likes the traditional decor, the quietness, and the hot baths. So when he’d found out they’d be staying at one for the duration of their mission, he’d been pleased, and it has so far lived up to expectations. Getting back tonight after the day’s fighting, he’s a bit tired—but it’s nothing a short rest won’t fix. Tetchō intends to go to bed, but-
The touch on his back is obvious even to him. Jouno’s touches are never unintentional, and Tetchō knows they haven’t really had alone time since their mission here began. Nobody else seems to be using the baths, at least, so it would be a good time to spend it together — and there will be an excuse if they’re walked in on, not that Tetchō really cares if anyone sees.
He waits a short amount of time before slipping off to the hot springs. Jouno’s clothes are there already; Tetchō quickly sheds his own, still dirty. Even without the company waiting for him, a soak does honestly sound nice, the quiet, steam-filled air and soft sound of water lapping at rocks making him feel at ease.
Once undressed, he enters the hot springs proper, sees the steam rising from the surface. It’s mercifully empty, except, of course, for the lone figure sitting against the rocks. Tetchō would know him anywhere; there’s an uncharacteristic calm about him, though.
“Jouno.” He calls out, softly, before stepping into the water, feeling the warmth creep up his skin. Tetchō knows his presence will already have been detected, but offers a greeting anyway.
